Dr Anderson has a particular interest in some of the more challenging cases of long-standing microbial infections, including urinary tract infections (UTIs). She holds a degree in medicine from the University of Leicester and an undergraduate degree concentrated on microbiology and biochemistry from Liverpool University. A qualified GP who continues to research the challenging and misunderstood disease area of urinary tract infections. Her scientific background affords her an in-depth understanding of the causes and the most appropriate treatment. She offers EQUC (broth extraction) urine culture and analysis as well as interpretation of urinary molecular culture diagnostic results for those patients who have used PCR, Shotgun and Nano pore analysis.
She can also help with a range of women’s health issues, including gynaecological symptoms, breast, menstrual and hormonal problems. She provides comprehensive women’s health checks, vaginal swab culture and molecular interpretation, comprehensive digestive stool analysis / microbiome testing / interpretation plus general health blood work interpretation and advice. She specialises in women’s reproductive and post reproductive health.
Due to medical insurance regulations, Dr Anderson will only treat patients from UK and Ireland.
